Necessity is the mother of invention, and so our Professional Lifeguards who patrol this tempting and often dangerous shoreline are constantly honing their skills and creating aides and initiatives to make their task more effective.
This passion for life saving product performance has seen the development of the Swellrider Rescue & Recovery Sled designed and thoroughly tested by our own active Professional Lifeguards and Swell Rider Founders, Milton Brunton - Australian Professional Ocean Lifeguard Association (APOLA) National Training & Field Officer....and Drew Valentine -

About Milton |

Milton Brunton is a Senior active Lifeguard with the Gold Coast City council, based at the very busy and cosmopolitan Surfers Paradise Beach and an executive member of APOLA. He has been a major contributor to the development of Personal Water Craft / Jetskis as the ultimate rescue and recovery vehicles, notably in regard their rapid-response capabilities.....and integral to pioneering techniques and training methods to capitalise on their performance which has revolutionized their effectiveness far beyond any previous practice. the sled is absolutely the key component in this high speed functional breakthrough.
Milton & the team have additionally been developing 'rescue-inspired 'sleds for use in a variety of Recreational fields....including applications - for tow-in surfing, skurfing, wake-boarding as skin-diving platforms, for extra family passengers, camping carry-alls, even an aquatic box trailer!
Due to high demand for these Australian Made quality tested and endorsed rescue and recovery products Swellrider has expanded its range to offer the best possible choice of PWC accessories.
